Every Bio-Refinery is designed and built to a specific feedstock. To optimise processing potential and maximise energy yields; feedstock samples are analysed at our Certified Laboratory where waste is broken down under pilot plant conditions.
From our experiences in processing differing feedstock’s and laboratory analysis, our Technologists and Process Engineers will determine the most efficient plant design. This will include such criteria as buffering additives, biochemical pre-processing, cell rupture pressure technology and maceration, pasteurisation, sterilisation by pressure, aerobic digestion leading to anaerobic digestion, ion exchange, odour control, and digestate conditioning for PAS110 compliance.
We aim to fully process feedstock to PAS 110 compliance between 15 - 20 days.

The Bio-Refinery is designed for construction in modular structures. Fully certified and insured for operational and structural performance for 80 years, every Bio-Refinery is factory built then shipped to site for fast erection. The internal flow characteristics of every tank have been designed with internal weir systems and gas / liquid mixing to maximise bio-refining efficiency.
