New Additions to the Team - #NAW2015

By Emma Shotton in People 13 March 2015

National Apprenticeship Week isn’t over yet and it wouldn’t be complete without mentioning the latest additions to our fantastic team of apprentices! Sarah, Luke, Elliot and Dan joined H2 Energy in September of last year. Not only do they inject enthusiasm into everything that they do but they've also made a huge contribution in a number of areas.

Partners in crime Sarah and Luke – both studying Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeships through The North West Training Council. The pair are mentored by a Team Leader and have worked and supported on a number of projects and more recently managed their own mini projects

Elliot and Dan our Electrical Engineering Apprentices also study through the North West Training Council. As well as helping build the PLC Cabinet for a large scale project the pair have helped in the setup of a brand new Unit where H2 Energy have expanded manufacturing operations.

Through the recruitment of apprentices we are able to develop skills in young people specific to our business. The success of our young recruits further reinforces the importance of Apprenticeships and the benefits to the apprentice, the team, the business and wider economy.

Opportunities for local young people is a passion of ours, however they have a serious input into our business. I couldn't be more happy with their attitude and endeavour to improve themselves, but my greater happiness is with their input into our manufacturing as key members of the production team.
Well done and keep making me proud!
